An impefect world

The belief in the theory of Karma states that, the gud or evil u do in this life, comes to bite u in the arse, in this life or the next, once the Chakra or the cycle of life, comes a full circle. Plus, that in order to attain salvation, one must be humble, help the weak and be unselfish enough to see beyond own personal gains and work for the greater good of the society n hence, humanity at large.

Well, I may not be the most religious person around, or for that matter anywhere close to the most righteous person around, but in my experience, the only way to attain any kind of peace of mind, is to do whatever comes to u naturally, whatever makes u happy and whatever doesn’t leave any scope for regret in the future. When God made no two ppl the same, it is almost hysterical to assume that, they would have more or less the same way, by which they can cope up with defeat or loss.

Now imagine, having a certain arrogance abt ur demeanor, a certain unjustifiable swagger abt ur attitude, a certain coldness to emotions of attachment, love, dependence and care for others. Having the belief that "No matter what u say, NO matter what u do, IF i want u, there's not a damm thing u will be able to do, to resist the temptation" . Some may call this boasting, but its not boasting, if u can back it up everyday. The key to happiness, is askin ur self this simple question, before doing anything "WHATS IN IT FOR ME". Again, the answer might be different for different people, but that answer will lead you to true bliss. An imperfect world, requires an imperfect answer to survive in.

Return of the URBAN LEGEND

Many many years ago, in the foothills of the Shivalik mountain ranges, lived THE LEGEND of a man, who was the epitome of all that is morally wrong with the world, a sadist beyond comparison and a cold hearted womanizer. He lived life to the hilt, was happy like a baby and gave two hoots about what the world around him thought of him. But as with good things, the GOLDEN era was bound to end. The lessons learnt were forgotten, the rules of happiness were bent and the darkness of the heart was replaces by the sunshine of kindness, love and compassion. Soon THE LEGEND became a myth, the reality became folk lore and what was never supposed to be forgotten was forgotten.

Over the next few years, life played more than its fair share of tricks on our man, uprooted him from his paradise, spitted him in a God forsaken place and to top it all, gave him a conscious to feel, a heart to love and a desperate need to have a special someone in his life. He was broken, bent and twisted beyond recognition, shown the depths of loneliness, screwed by the very ppl he trusted and the worst was yet to come. For the first time, in his life, he REMEMBERED THE DATES OF those cruel events and just couldn't block them away, as he had all his life. They nagged him, ate him away from the inside and made him dependent on ppl, other than himself.

When all hope seemed lost, when the darkness almost seemed vanquished, when the GOOD had almost defeated EVIL forever, SATAN blessed his favourite child with everything that had been lost. HE took away the emotions, the care, the love and most importantly, returned to our man the ability NOT only to forget the ppl he hated, but also to forget the ones he LOVED, to become immune to their sufferings and to focus ONLY on his own happiness.

Thus, with just enough time to spare, from the depths of hell has once again risen THE URBAN LEGEND from Chandigarh, to cause unprecedented heartache and to wreck havoc amongst the fairer sex called women.

Resurrection

Even the biggest atheist amongst us has grown up on stories of Gods being benevolent, kind and at times righteous enough to take up arms and fight for the survival of the goodness of the human kind. Everyone one amongst us has experienced the rush and joy of rooting for an underdog and watching him prevail against a much stronger opponent or oven coming odds which insurmountable.

In life as in a war, the blood of the innocent is shed, the mighty are broken and annihilated and you will experience the excruciating pain of losing something that you cherish the most. You will come across someone who is better than you, someone who will take away the thing which u love the most from u, you will be played like a fool and taken for a ride, be called an overly active mind if you question the facts (even the subtle ones) and called an uncaring heart if you don’t question them. Confusion will reign supreme, you will be left to ponder whether you should be grateful for what you have or in the end realize that fighting for a losing cause at the end of which was a second rung prize anyways.

Resurrection in its truest form means coming back from the dead, some may even modify it to mean stepping up to the plate when you are down for the count. For me, it simply means embracing what you truly are. In life you have to put on many faces, just to survive and the real resurrection is keeping your true self alive amidst all the confusion that fogs your mind and clouds your judgment. Just like a tiger can’t change his stripes nor can a lion turn vegetarian, so too a man can’t change what he truly is.

You may strategize and plan all you want to, but the fact of the matter is neither LIFE nor GOD plays fair. So to play by the conventional rules seems rather foolish, doesn’t it?? Playing to win, seems like a logical and simple conclusion, right?? Yes, but only to an extent. After a while, what excites you more is just the thrill of the chase or put in simple words, HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME. The greatest pleasure in life is in watching the game unfold just the way you planned it, despite all the odds. Now that, all the pawns are in place, all the enemies have been identified and all the lies have been unmasked, it’s time to do what I do best i.e. play a cold and ruthless game, lay to waste anything that comes my way, enjoy the carnage and TURN NIGHTMARES INTO REALITY.

The EASIEST 8 lakhs ever

26 November, 2010, the day the unthinkable happened. The day, when what i had been hoping for, for the last 4 yrs, actually came true. The day, which is barely 48 hrs old, seems like one FUZZY DREAM sequence of events, and though they are gonna shape the rest of my LIFE, i barely remember how it actually unfolded. lol
People say that success comes only to those who toil hard, are talented, are focused, are
driven by the sheer determination to achieve their aim, are aware of what is happening around them and can stand out from the crowd. These are the very thoughts, which even i had when i started with my MBA. Everybody around me, was clear about what they wanted, took part in competitions and won them by sacrificing their sleep and understood concepts at breathtaking speed. I knew i had to work extra hard, to even compete with them, but unfortunately, i was ALWAYS  too lazy to do anything about it.
Before i could do anything to alter the my course, it was time for my SUMMERS, and as love struck as i was, i lapped up the first opportunity that came my way. And as it turned out, even though i didnt get the girl ;-), i managed to score BIG time with Ruchi Soya. Not only did i make my first money in years, i also managed to make a few friends along the way. And, as luck would have it, before i could recover from the exhaustion of the SUMMERS, college was back on, with life in the midst of its darkest period.
The saving grace, was that innocent little kid "Udayveer". First, the sudden developments at Mercedes, then the rude awakening of Croma, and finally the celebrations for the Croma ppl, all within a time frame of 20 days, is the stuff that movies are made off. Whoso ever said, happiness of others makes ur heart ache, was clearly wrong, atleast on this occasion. For 2 yrs, i had convinced myself, i was going to get into auto or telecom sales, but as it finally turns out, i am gonna be a IT guy. lol
Today, the feeling of having achieved a package of 8 lakhs, by parting, hukking and enjoying life without a care for tom, constantly falling in and out of love, is finally sinking in. Yet somehow, it doesnt feel any different. People keep repeating it,but it doesnt sound like such a big. Maybe life is not all about hard work, BUT smart work, connecting the dots, with lies if u have to, confidence to make it sound genuine and a belief that u can make it, despite the odds being stacked against you.
U dream of a perfect, u dream of wearing something special, looking gud, stranges showering praises on you, getting an astronomical package with ur hometown as ur base(in all probability) is what came true on 26/11/10. so if a lazy bumm like me can make, anybody can make it.wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh

The Immortals of Meluha

Well, aS the title of this blog suggests, i am in LOVE with the book THE IMMORTALS OF MELUHA(TIOM). I happened to read this book on my Diwali trip home, on my brother's recommendation, and boy, wasn't it a delight. It may not be the greatest literary piece ever written, but, for me it was a life saver.
In the last few months, more than a few ppl have been surprisingly taken aback by my blogs, by the sheer seriousness of them and by the emotions pouring out of them. I will be lying if i say that, i didn't actually have a terrible last 3 odd months. But as in most cases, life flips on its head, when u least expect it too. In the last week of October, things finally started to look better, thanks first to the October fest n secondly to Dexter - the TV series. What questions about the duality of personality Dexter started in my head with the visual delight, TIOM drilled deep into my consciousness in less than 24 hrs. I still remember the most impact full line of the book, when Shiva has defeated the so called EVIL Chandravanshies, HE finds out that he was supposed to be their saviour too. This aspect of accepting both the good and evil sides of ur personality, no clear demarcation between black and white aspects of life and NOT being afraid to do things, JUST because its against the general norms, were aspects that had somehow gotten blurred in my head.
The trip home, not only gave me BACK my peace of mind, BUT also the UNJUSTIFIABLE arrogance to be brash again, to be COLD to my own emotions again and BREAKING another innocent heart (just because i could) without loosing my sleep over it.Now looking back, the last 3 odd months, my actions during them and my then state of mind, seem like my PUNISHMENT from GOD, for deviating away his GRAND plan for me, of NOT doing good, of NOT being caring, of JUST looking after my own interests, of making full use of every opportunity ( by any means necessary or running over anyone) and for THINKING that i NEEDED someone in my life to call my OWN,someone to hold on to, someone to lean on.
They say u r good LIAR if u can believe ur own BULLSHIT, then i must be F**KIN awesome, bcoz i had my self convinced for the better part of an year that THIS tiger had changed his stripes. lol. But as with everything in my life, the fight between gud and evil, ended with EVIL prevailing, n yet i consider myself GODS favourite child (or the one he loves to hate, the challenge of which i am actually starting to cherish again), simply because it proves that i am not only capable of handling anything which HE throws at me, BUT in the process also end up HAVING PLEASURES which most people can only DREAM off ;-)
It is believed that ONCE u get ur heart broken, u can never even think of breaking someone else's heart, BUT then again some ppl just DONT conform to the rules of normal mortals, they make their own rules, they are the last THE IMMORTALS OF MELUHA and they are like ME

Apples to Oranges

We all have grown up hearing the phrase " Nice guys finish LAST" and laughed when someone we know ends being the NICE guy, makes a mockery of himself, inevitable for a girl. What baffles us the most is how something so obvious could be overlooked, how could someone not learn form the mistakes of others and how could some make the same mistakes time and again.
I have always considered myself as someone who was smart enough to understand the tricks of the trade when it came to women and realized at a very early stage that being nice wasn't my cup of tea. Call it GODS sarcasm or fate, but no matter who you are, sooner or later, life does came back to bite you on ur arse.
The other day, a dear friend of mine brought it to my notice that i had changed, i had transformed form  an APPLE  (sweet and nice) to an ORANGE (tangy and nice). Honestly speaking, i couldn't really understand the metaphor in its entirety until last night. Having had more than a few crisis in the last 2 odd months that have tested me in ways i thought weren't even possible, i had given up on everything. The oddest of surprises was that in giving up and accepting defeat, i somehow found the ARROGANT, COLD HEARTED and the blatantly SADISTIC Chandigarh lad, who i had been trying to get rid off. In trying to make others happy,  i had forgotten the joys of doing things for your own selfish reasons, the absolute delight in not having regrets and most of all , the simple pleasure of SPEAKING YOUR MIND and asking POINTED questions.
The true triumph is when , after having tasted defeat, staring temptation straight in the eye and saying NOT THIS TIME BOY. Playing with it, fliritng with it, admiring it BUT NOT letting the temptation into ur mind and deepest recesses. The APPLE has infact turned into an ORANGE, just a little badder than before, just a little more meaner than before, just a little bit colder than before BUT a whole lot happier than before. and the timing couldn't have been better. For the first time in Bangalore, i had the company to match the party LONG LIVE THE KINGFISHER BEER FEST

The GOLDEN Rules

Well, more than a few people (and people whom i hold very dear) have expressed concerns , or should i say, dismay and shock, over my last few posts. While i am touched, with all the concern and love, it also was an eye opener for me. It served as the perfect catalyst that was required to wake me up from this slumber. Having gone through, probably, what must be the toughest and the most freaky few months of my life, the only desire left in my heart now, is to do what everybody has been after me to do, for the longest time i.e. TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD ALL THE TRICKS OF SNARING ANY WOMAN, be it single, smart , dumb, married, committed , beauful or jsut ur next door girl.

1) NEVER EVER get involved with a girl you have to see/ meet everyday.

u may ask but WHY?? here's why. Seeing her everyday, makes it a habit, a set routine and after a while, even if u dont realsie it, u become addicted to the routine, even if u hate it. U start taking it for granted and expectations begin to creep in, and any deviation form them, FUCKS with ur head

2) NEVER EVER LET GO OFF ALL THE POWER in a relationship

u may say, once u find true love, all of this doesnt matter. Well, u may be right, but in my experience (and trust me its pretty exhaustive ;-) ) Being there selflessly for the other person is a given, but expecting the same from the other person is NOT wrong. If u dont like something, dont let it sly else it will become a precident and will irritate u for ever BUT remember to use it at the right time ONLY.

3) TARGET committed girls n date a min of 2 girls at the same time

Firslty, committed girls feel a lot safer than single girls as they dont have chip on their shoulders. Be a friend to them, ALWAYS listen to what they r sayin, even if it bores the life out of u. Remember what they say, n never offer advice unless asked for. Never critize them, n if u have to, do it in such a way, that it apperas an extension of their own idea.

Secondly, since they r committed, make sure they dont break up with their BF's. He is unknwoingly ur best friend. Every mistake he makes, is an advantage for u, so DONT kill the golden goose. n since she is committed, u wont ever get too serious for her.

Finally, since u r dating 2 women, u wont believe the crap u say abt love to them. Plus, lying abt love will become so ingrained in u, that u will start frliting, even when u dont even try.

4) TEST the boundaries

every girl is not the same , so its IMPOSSIBLE to say what is a sure shot what to get a girl. u constantly have to keep testing or even bending the boundaries of the relationship, else u will never be able to figure out what the extent to which u can go. It could be anyhting, and not just gettin physical stuff. Even the mental comfort level which u share, makes a lot of difference. Once u get her to share her deepest darkest secret, u know u have her undying trust. After that how u handle it, is upto u.

5) BE everything she DOESNT looks for in a BF

If she is any gud, she would have guys hitting on her all the time, so dont be JUST another one in the crowd. Be her friend, but keep tellin her stories of ur gf's. Create a dual personality in front of her, one of a friend and another of the guy u r with other girls ( non friends). LIE if u have to, make up phantonm stories, create people out of thing air BUT show her u have a bad side. then all the niceties u do, will leave a much sweeter taste in her mind.

6) NEVER take names or tell anybody what u r doing

Never EVER tell the girls name to anybody, if possible. Keep it under wraps as much as possible but share with her ur friends name, this will make her more relaxed, but DONT make them meet her. Meeting the family is simply out of the question, we dont want unnecessary complications, do we ;-) World is a really small place, n ppl r connected some how or the other. So be very carefull what u say to ppl, at times even ur BEST friend can turn out to be a member of the rival gang. lol.

Thats preety much all i can remember right now, but since this is a topic, which i dearly love, constant updates will keep on flowing. Hope , some poor soul finds this useful.
